Privacy policy

Video and audio

The recovery master and finished VHS copy are stored in Pawcorder’s app storage. Only the finished VHS copy goes to Photos or a share destination when you choose that action.

Video, audio, tape titles, file names, thumbnails, and file paths are not sent to Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or AdMob.

Optional diagnostics

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics start off. If you separately opt in, they process limited product interactions or crash diagnostics without recording content or a user ID.

You can stop either option in Pawcorder Settings. Unsent crash reports are deleted when crash reporting is turned off.

Ads, UMP, and ATT

Google AdMob may show an interstitial at the shelf transition after three successful tapes, at most once per session and at least 15 minutes apart. It never interrupts recording, rendering, or permission screens.

Google UMP provides advertising privacy choices where required. Pawcorder requests App Tracking Transparency permission only for the personalized-ad path. Core features remain available if you decline.

Website and support form

This website uses no analytics, ad scripts, cookies, account system, or user database.

If you use the support form, your topic, reply email, message, language, and optional app and iOS versions are sent through Cloudflare Email Service to support@octo6lab.com. They are used only to answer your request and are not stored in a website database or analytics logs.

Retention, deletion, and choices

• Deleting a tape removes its master and VHS copy from Pawcorder.
• Pawcorder does not delete copies already saved to Photos.
• Analytics and crash reporting can be changed separately in Settings.
• Ad privacy choices can be reopened where required, and ATT can be changed in iOS Privacy & Security settings.
